Quinoa Turley Meatballs

Ingredients

  1. 1lb ground turkey
  2. 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
  3. 3 green onions, chopped
  4. Sesame Seeds
  5. Zest of 1/2 of an orange
  6. 1 tsp chili flakes
  7. 1 tsp peanut oil
  8. Salt and Pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook quinoa according to directions. When done, set aside.
  2. In a large bowl combine ground turkey, quinoa and chopped green onions.
  3. Mix gently to avoid mushing the quinoa.
  4. Add 1/2 tsp of chili flakes, salt and pepper,1 tsp peanut oil and zest of 1/2 orange to turkey mix.
  5. Combine all ingredients.
  6. Preheat ove to 400 degrees.
  7. Lightly grease a baking sheet.
  8. Scoop a heaping teaspoon of turkey mix and roll into a ball with your hands.
  9. Place meatball onto the baking sheet.
  10. Bake for about 15 minutes.

Notes

  1. Toss meatballs in Pineapple Teriyaki Sauce and sprinkle them with sesame seeds.
