Soothing Immune Boosting Ritual

It was a fairly rough start to the New Year. 2020 kicked off with non other than a good old COLD. The whole package. Sore throat, stuffy nose, sneezing, exhaustion and coughing. Yep, that is how I spent the first day of this brand new decade. That lasted about a week or so. Fast forward a couple weeks later (aka this past weekend) and that son of a bitch came back!!! This time not as long but it still sucked just as much.

I am all about finding new ways to soothe and naturally boost my immunity and lately discovered this delicious combination that not only soothed my symptoms and was totally comforting… it also tasted delicious! The recipe is so simple, and you probably have most of the ingredients in your kitchen right now:

Minced Ginger
2-3 Lemon Slices
1 tsp Raw Honey

Boil some water and pour into a mug. If you have a tea diffuser put your ginger inside of that and seep in the hot water. If you do not have a diffuser, simply drop the minced ginger in the mug, let it steep for about 5-8 minutes, then strain into a new mug so you don’t have chunks of ginger floating around. Add honey and lemon slices. ENJOY!

Lemons are high in vitamins C and and is a natural antioxidant
