We know that Bone Broth is good for overall wellness, but do we know exactly what it is good for? The collagen and amino acids found in bone broth supports the inner lining of our gut which promotes a healthy immune system. How Do You Consume Bone Broth?
This answer is easy… anyway you’d like! That’s the beauty about it, you can consume it in so many different ways. From using it in your soups and stews, use it when making rice or quinoa (instead of water), add it to sauces or drink it straight! I love warming up a cup of bone broth in the afternoons or in the evenings. I just add a little bit of seasonings such as a pinch of salt, some pepper, maybe some ginger, freshly chopped herbs… and sip on it! I also love making a Bone Broth soup during cold and flu season. I heat up 4-5 cups (just like I would when I’m sipping it from a cup) sometime I’ll add extra water if I need a bigger quantity. Then I add some shredded meat, or meatballs or veggie chunks.

I’ve set 2020 as the year to bring ultimate health back into my life. Not only physically but also mentally. I spent most of 2019 in a very unhealthy place and it was beginning to drag me down. So I made a promise to myself that this year I would dedicate more time and effort to me, myself and I. Gut health is #1 on my list and I have been introducing a lot of gut healthy and gut healthy foods into my diet. The obvious one, Bone Broth, but also working on incorporating more probiotic rich foods and fermented foods.
